I Dang Dang si formano nel 2012, dall’incontro tra Matteo Castagnoli (The Chics, Ghost of Bell Star, Walls of Lymbo, 64 Slices of American Cheese) e Fabio Borroni (Akemi).cominciano a provare qualche brano con Emanuele “Meme” Fantini (The Chics, The Last Killers) alla Batteria e Mattia Mercuriali (Amycanbe) al basso e sintetizzatori.
Dopo aver composto i brani che finiranno sul primo LP, Meme e Mattia lasciano la Band per motivi personali e Fabio e Matteo decidono di portare aventi il progetto ugualmente, registrando con mezzi di fortuna il primo disco, completamente autoprodotto, aiutati da alcuni special guest. Paolo Gradari (64 Slices of American Cheese, Amycanbe, Caffè Sport Orchestra) al Sax e Massimiliano Amadori (Opez, Consorzio Portuali, Walls Of Lymbo) alle Chitarre.
Le batterie verranno registrate da (e con) il fondamentale supporto di Alessandro “Gomma” Antolini (Gomma, Nevica su 4.0).
Successivamente nel 2015, vengono inseriti Nicola “Rospo” Bustacchini (SybiAnn, The Chics) al basso, e Lara Zambelli (SybiAnn) ai synth e alla voce.

Dang Dang formed in 2012, by Matteo Castagnoli (The Chics, Ghost of Bell Star, Walls of Lymbo, 64 Slices of American Cheese) and Fabio Borroni (Akemi).
At that time Emanuele Fantini (The Chics, The Last Killers) and Mattia Mercuriali (Amycanbe) were members respectively at the drums and at the bass and synths.
After finishing the tracks composing the first LP Emanuele and Mattia quit the band but Fabio and Matteo decided to go ahead and record the band's first completely home-made album, with the help from special guests such as Paolo Gradari (64 Slices of American Cheese, Amycanbe, Caffè Sport Orchestra) at the saxophone and Massimiliano Amadori (Opez, Consorzio Portuali, Walls Of Lymbo) at the guitars.
Drums have been recorded by and together with Alessandro “Gomma” Antolini (Gomma, Nevica su 4.0).
Later on 2015, Nicola “Rospo” Bustacchini (SybiAnn, The Chics) joined at the bass and Lara Zambelli (SybiAnn) at synths and vocals.
